Dr. Holzer received his medical degree from the University of Geneva, Switzerland in 1977. He completed his general Surgical Internship and Residency at California’s San Joaquin General Hospital and his Plastic Surgical Residencyat Ohio’s Wright State University Hospitals.
He received additional training in Reconstructive Surgery at San Francisco General Hospital, in Switzerland’s Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois and in cosmetic surgery at Manhattan Eye and Ear Hospital.
He was awarded Board Certification in Plastic Surgery in 1984 and practiced Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery until 1994.
He has devoted his practice exclusively to Surgical Hair Restoration since 1994, in Manhattan until 2008 and Northern California since then.
He has the support of an outstanding technical surgical staff, comprising exclusively highly trained assistants, each with a long experience in all aspects of Surgical Hair Restoration and Transplantation.
He offers to both women and men all available therapies for hair loss. These include proven hair pharmacological therapies for men, as well as Microfollicular (FUT) and Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) and Reconstructive Scalp Surgery for scarring Hair loss.
